Mold Testing and Bathroom Tips

Places that are often or always damp can be hard to maintain completely free of mold. If there's some mold in the shower or elsewhere in the bathroom that seems to reappear, increasing ventilation (running a fan or opening a window) and cleaning more frequently will usually prevent mold from recurring, or at least keep the mold to a minimum

Oriental Rug Cleaning Experts

ORIENTAL RUG CLEANING EXPERTS

Step 1: Inspection of Your Precious Rug
At our plant, one of our experienced Rug Cleaning technician inspects your rug thoroughly on both the front and back surfaces. The first step to rug restoration is pre-inspecting the rug and noting areas where extra attention is needed, such as spots, stains and odor. After the rug has been assessed, our skilled technicians remove any loose dust, dirt and debris. We make sure you know, upfront, the condition of your rug.
Step 2: Dust Removal, Conditioning & Treatment
If not properly removed, dust can cause a lot of damage to your precious Rug. Ordinary vacuuming with your home vacuum cleaner cannot reach deep enough into the fibers to clean out all of the particulates!
We use compressed air to rid your rug of particulates. We use the exact pressure needed to remove all dust and particulates from your rug without damaging any of the fibers or the colors. Regular rug cleaners don’t use this method because they don’t have the specialized equipment that is necessary to do this job. After the dust removal we apply state of the art Conditioning and Treatment specifically used for oriental rugs to make sure we get the best results possible.
Step 3: Hand Washing Process
The rug is then carefully hand-washed both sides multiple times in our wash pit and placed through our water extractor. Once your Oriental rug has been thoroughly cleaned, it is then rinsed to remove all of the soils and cleaning agents. It may surprise you to know that East Bay Oriental Rug Cleaning’s rinsing process is so thorough that our final rinse water is actually clean enough to drink! Caution! We do not recommend you try this with any other company’s rinse water.
Step 4: Drying Process
If the drying process is too fast or too slow it can damage your Oriental rug. Your rug is dried gently in our specially designed, atmosphere-controlled drying room.
Step 5: Post wash Inspection and Detailing
We then detail your rug, and look for any remaining foreign matter. Careful consideration is given to the fibers and dyes. We then rinse and brush the fringes. This is an important step since most fringes normally have no color, and any blemish will detract from the beauty of your rugs. After completely drying, the rug is carefully inspected by our expert technicians.

Carpet and Rug Cleaning

Carpet cleaning can improve the appearance of your home or business, extend the life of your carpet, but perhaps the most valuable benefit from the process is improving you and your family’s health. Down Below are a few reasons why you should Call MarGaaa To get your Carpets Cleaned Today.
According to the E.P.A, a dirty carpet can retain several sources of indoor air pollutants, including pet dander, cockroach allergens, lead, particle pollution, and everyday dirt and dust. Toxic airborne gases can adhere to these particles and also get trapped within the carpet. These toxic gases can be released through everyday activities such as vacuuming and walking across the carpet, which can cause them to contaminate the air in your home. Professional carpet cleaning services kills these bacteria through special shampooing formulas and can remove deeply trapped pollutants with high-powered vacuums.
You can’t get rid of dust mites but can improve you indoor air quality by removing their waste products. Having your carpets and upholstery cleaned is a great way to remove their waste.
Liquid spills, such as milk, can make your carpets a breeding ground for mold. A thorough carpet cleaning, with a truck mount cleaning system, will make your carpets more sanitary for you and your family

$199 Holiday Light Installation

If your Christmas lights are old, tangled, damaged, have frayed wires or have burnt out bulbs, it is time to replace them. Make sure your lights have been tested for safety; this will be indicated somewhere on the box. This means that the particular string of lights that you have purchased has been tested in a laboratory to make sure all of the bulbs light up and there are no shorts in the wires. Only plug in three strings of Christmas lights to a single extension cord. Look for Christmas lights that have fused plugs.
Do not use Christmas lights outdoors unless they are specifically labeled for outdoor use on the box. When stringing Christmas lights up outdoors, make sure they are secured to the surface using insulated staples or hooks. If your lights are not fastened, they may be damaged by blowing around in the wind, which can make them unsafe. When you are taking your outdoor Christmas lights back down, remove them gently. Do not yank them down. If you are using Christmas lights outdoors, you should make sure your circuits are grounded with ground fault circuit interrupters. These can either be installed into the house’s electrical system by an electrician or a portable outdoor version can be purchased to use during the holiday season.
